The next phase of Headlands Estate is about 250 acres (100 Hectares) and, for well over 50 years part of it was an operational quarry. In our development approval, much of that area, including the lakes, is approved to become large freehold lifestyle blocks each worth a fortune. We, however, want to extend the first approved 20 acres (8ha) of Charlotte’s Wood to include most of those ‘lifestyle’ blocks area. This would create a wild revegetated community park densely planted with appropriate native trees.

We, as a community, have already planted 10,000 LandCare grown plants that are thriving in the first section of Charlotte’s Wood. We look forward to working with Council and the community to make this dream a reality.
