Headlands Estate is 250 acres in size and was once the Bargara Quarry. So it has some scars. 130 acres of this site is unusable for home sites, so we are rehabilitating it through reafforestation and this will be Charlotte's Wood.

We have started and the first 20 acres will be dedicated as Council Reserve when the First Stage is registered. We have planted 10,000 trees in this area with the help of many community members and organisations. We have also installed a concrete path through this area which extends the footpath network into Charlotte's Wood.

This area also contains a park of 5000sqm. This will have some embellishments installed for the community to enjoy.
